Birth Prep Course Now Enrolling!
Hello and thank you for your interest in my childbirth education class to prepare you for a positive labor/birth experience! I only have room for 4-5 couples for each session, so this class will be extremely personalized for you!
This class will cover a general overview of birth phases, exercises for your pregnancy to help baby be in a great position for birth, common interventions offered with their risks and benefits, tips for your partner to support you during labor, relaxation techniques, creating your birth plan, a brief explanation of what to expect during postpartum, and so much more!
This is a TWO day class and is PERFECT for anyone due through January. Classes on both days in each session will be from 9 am - 2 pm. (NOTE: If a class must be canceled due to the instructor getting called to a birth, I will text each participant as soon as I go to the birth. Participants will be able to attend a future class date if the session is not already full OR we will reschedule for a date and time as soon as possible, provided there is availability at Empower Pelvic Health. Every effort will be made to ensure that you receive the full course content.)

SESSION DATES (Note: You will only sign up for ONE of the following session dates):
Session 1 Cohort: 9/14 & 9/21, 9 am - 2 pm each day
Session 2 Cohort: 10/12 & 10/19, 9 am - 2 pm each day
Session 3 Cohort: 11/30 & 12/7, 9 am - 2 pm each day

Anyone who completes my course will receive a certificate from Empower Pelvic Health for a COMPLEMENTARY perineal stretching session and guide (redeemable by 36 weeks gestation). This is a GREAT way to prep for your birth, especially for better postpartum healing!
What to Bring:
Since the building AC shuts off at 2 pm, we will work through lunch. Please bring a lunch, water, and any snacks you might need. You will also need to bring a towel/scarf, pillows for relaxation practice, and anything you might need for notetaking.
Payment Info
A $50 nonrefundable retainer is required to sign up. This retainer is waived if you hire me as your doula. Clients who take my birth course also receive $100 off birth doula services. (Please reach out to schedule a FREE consult.)

If for some reason you are unexpectedly not able to attend Day 1 or Day 2 of your class session, you can move to another future class session, provided the class is not already full.
Payment Info
$175 paid via Zelle, Cash, or Check is due on Day 1 of your class session and the remaining $175 is due on Day 2 of your class session. (Checks need to be made payable to Chelsey Hernandez.)
